Installation instructions
KeyMaster is to be installed inside your dvd player. It is therefore
necessary to be familiar with soldering, otherwise you should get a service
center to do the installation for you. Take a look at our dealer page to find a service center near you.
If you, on the other hand, are interested in installing the KeyMaster
yourself, you can download KeyMaster installation instructions for the
different players KeyMaster supports in PDF format at the supported players page.
In order to read files in the PDF format you will have to have Adobe Acrobat
Reader installed on your PC. It is freely available on Adobe's homepage at http://www.adobe.com.

Installation difficulty
On the supported players the following levels of
installation difficulties is used to describe how difficult we believe the
installation to be.
Easy. Installationen is easy. The cover is removed, soldering is needed, and
the cover is put back on.
Rather easy. Installation is easy. The cover is removed, the mechanism has to be
disconnected, soldering is needed, the mechanism has to be connected again
and the cover is put back on.
Average. Average difficulty. The cover is removed, diffrent components such as
the main board and mechanism has to be disconnected, and soldering is needed
Hard. Installation is difficult. The firmware chip (small) has to be replaced,
otherwise the installation is rather easy.
Very hard. Installation is very difficult. The firmware chip (large) has to be
replaced, otherwise as rather easy. This level of difficulty depends on whether
you own proper soldering equipment. If you do, and are familiar with soldering,
the installation is easy.
