KeyMaster Uploader II features
The KeyMaster Uploader II is a standalone box primarily for updating
Pioneer players. You will only need this box; there is no need for any other of
equipment.
The KeyMaster Uploader II is available for dealers only!
The standard KeyMaster Uploader II is capable of updating the latest
Pioneer models and some Marantz, Onkyo and Metz models; each standard Uploader
is capable of updating at least 16 different models. You can also customise the
Uploader to include support other players based on Pioneer technology.
It is quite simple. The Uploader has got three buttons, "MODEL", "TYPE" and
"GO". You connect the Uploader the players you wish to update, and select the
player on the Uploader using the "MODEL" button. When the player is shown in the
display, just hit "GO". The display now shows the progress of the upload.
The "TYPE" button is only used when different versions exist.
When ordering a KeyMaster Uploader II, please note how many uploads you
want, i.e. the amount of players you can update. Also note the minimum quantity
of 10 uploads. When the Uploader is empty, you simply return it to us for a
refill.
The KeyMaster Uploader II supports the same range of features as the
normal KeyMaster:
The region code of the dvd player is easily changed in the setup menu of the player
or directly from your remote control.
Most KeyMasters offers both automatic and manual region selection. The
different configurations are shown on the supported
players page next to each dvd player.
Automatic region selection means that the dvd player is able to auto-detect and
change the region to be able to play a movie, as where manual region selection
means that you are able to change the region by using the remote control.
It is still possible to use your original settings in the setup menu even if
you use KeyMaster. All functions are still available and you are still
able to change settings.
No KeyMaster removes vital functions such as RGB output or the like from
the dvd player. However with some KeyMasters for the Pioneer players,
programming the playing order of CD tracks will not be available as they are
used for region selection.
KeyMaster has no external switches; all operations are done from the setup
menu of the dvd player or directly from the remote control
It also supports discs which are encoded using RCE. Click here to learn more about KeyMaster and RCE.
